GRANDMA CAN YOU TELL ME A DIGITAL STORY? : CREATING A DIGITAL STORY

So, for this assignment me and my friend created a digital story based on a fictional story. There were other options too such as creating a public service announcement and explaining the steps of how to do it; however, we chose the last option which is fictional story. Firstly, we created a story. It is about a grandma and a teenage girl, they get through an adventure but I will not tell you what it is. If you wonder, I will share the link so that you can watch the video. Then, we recorded our voices and we chose the related pictures. Lastly, we created the video. It was really enjoyable and creative for us. We simply created our story and recorded our voices. This procedure was easy; however, choosing pictures and editing the video was a little difficult. Since most of the websites wanted us to pay some money to edit our video we tried our best to find some websites that are free. I believe it is a good way to teach our students. Instead of using traditional ways or pen and paper methods, we can create such videos to enhance our teaching abilities. Also, I believe our students feel enjoyed and involved while watching these videos. Moreover, because we as teachers created these videos we can be sure that the videos are quite appropriate for our students and they cannot distract while watching. If you ask me I will definitely use these videos for my future classes. I am quite sure this will be awesome for my students.
