 Hello my dear readers! 👋Welcome to my first blog writing. I am really happy to share my first blog writing and my ideas with you. If you are ready let me start to talk about the first topic.

WHAT IS 21ST CENTURY LEARNING?
Alright, today I will talk about 21st century learning. As a teacher candidate, I am really eager to talk about this topic. First of all, let me ask this question. What does come to your mind when you think about 21st century or 21st century learning? Computers, mobile phones, technology, chatgpt, ai or nothing else. All of them, actually, are true because we are in a technology era. Everything in our life is related to technology and definitely I cannot do anything else without technology. Then, let me make a brief explanation. 21st century learning focuses on developing appropriate skills that students need in this technology age. These skills are critical thinking and problem solving, collaboration, creativity and innovation, digital literacy. So, we can understand that knowing technology does not matter, you should also know how to use it collaboratively or you should know how to communicate, how to think critically and so on. As we are in the technology age, this is a really important topic to know about. If you want to be a succesful student or learner you should know 21st century learning skills. Without knowing these skills, everything will be so difficult for you, my dear friends.

ELT WITH TECHNOLOGY? HOW CAN WE USE TECHNOLOGY IN LANGUAGE TEACHING?
I am quite sure that you understand the importance of technology and skills related to 21st century learning. Alright, what about using technology in language teaching? Is it suitable for our learners? How can we use it properly in the classroom or outside of the classroom? What do you think? Firstly, we can encourage our students to use technology and teach them how they can use it properly. We can teach them digital literacy. We can use technology interactively to teach English such as apps, websites, interactive whiteboards and online quizzes. Also, we can use some platforms, for example, google classroom or zoom for collaboration. Then, we can create some videos that our students can study indivually outside of the classroom. All of these are some examples that we can use to teach English by using technology. It is extremely important to use technology in our teaching because we live in a modern world. Try to use these methods to create memorable lessons and leave traditional way of teaching outside of the classroom!
