THE END OF THE JOURNEY: A REFLECTION POST

 Hello again my lovely friends!!! It is great to see you again!!! How is it going? I hope you are doing good!!💁😁😁 If you ask me, I am fine but I feel sad a little because this is my final writing.😔😔

It was surely great to have this experience. I created many projects for my ICT class and I shared my journey with you. However, it is time to say goodbye. 😖

Before taking this class, I wasn't into technology that much and I did not know all of these tools. This class changed my perspective. Of course, I was using AI or other tools but there were not enough educational tools that I knew. After taking this class, I definitely understood that using technology in our English classess is a must. From now on, I cannot imagine a classroom that do not use technology at all.

For example, we created a podcast. Before taking this class, I was in the traditional mindset which was speaking in the real classroom environment. However, this is not the only option. We can create podcasts as we did and let our students to talk about some topics. It enables them to speak freely and so that we can hear all of our students' voice. Also, we created writing tasks such as film review and interviewing a historical figure. Again, it is really hard to have writing classes and giving feedback to all students in the real classrooms. Plus, the topics in real classrooms are so limited and same. There is no creativity. On the other hand, this writing tasks are firstly creative and again enables our students to enhance their writing skills based on some topics that they interested in. So, I believe every university no matter what their subject is should have ICT classroom. This classroom helped me a lot to use technology appropriately and efficently.

If you ask me which task was your favorite and which one was least favorite, I would say I loved collaborative writing which was film review. My least favorite one is nothing, I guess. Let me explain why. I loved collaborative writing because I LOVE movies. So, we chose a movie with my friends and actually it was like talking about this movie. So, it was surely fun. I do not have anything that I did not like because every task had a point and reason. Nothing was meaningless. Maybe I can say midterm exam was my least favorite.😉😁😁

It was a great and lovely experience to have this class, creating all of  these tasks and sharing this experience with you. I believe, it was really fun.
